Automotive manufacturer fired 75% of its workforce


Due to the financial crises in country the automotive manufacturer Saipa-Kashan based in the city of Kashan in province Isfahan fired 75% of its workforce.
Saipa-Kashan is one of the three large car manufacturer in Iran with more than 10.000 workers working in 3 shifts. Since last month the company is working in only one shift.

Likewise is the situation in Saipa-Tehran. The company reduced the work to only one shift per day and the workers work every other day.

It is to mention that the wages and benefits of most of the workers are delayed since ca. three months.
