HRANA:
25 staff of
Evin-Prison´s shops simply stopped working in protest against non-payment of their salaries for two
previous months.
These workers receive 400 thousand Toman per month.
The contractor has also cut the overtime since the privatization of these
stores. They have announced
to continue the work stoppage in the coming days until the contractor fulfill
pays the outstanding wages.
There is a massive competition between the judicial authorities and the prison authorities for controlling the shops.
