According to the Communiqué number 40 of
“Reza Shahabi Defence Committee“, based on a fact sheet, which has
been shown to Reza Shahabi in Evin prison, his sentence will be reduced by two
years if he pays the 7 million Toman fine. In this case his release date will be on
March 21, 2014. Otherwise he must endure one further year in prison.
The report adds that Reza is still in
poor health. He is unable to move his neck, his fingers and lag are numbness.
