Three labour activists sentenced to imprisonment

The “revolutionary court” of Mahabad city sentenced Yusof Ab Kharabat, Vahed Sayedeh and Mohammad Molanai, labour activists and members of the Coordinating Committee to help Workers´ Organizations, each to two years in prison. The labour activists were arrested in January 2013.

Ghaleb Hosseini sentenced to 18 months imprisonment

Ghaleb Hosseini, the labour activist sentenced to one year imprisonment because of membership of the Coordinating Committee to Help Form Workers' Organization and “connectivity” to the opposition parties abroad, and also to six months imprisonment because of propaganda against the system.

Pedram Nassrolahi again on trial


Pedram Nassrolahi, the imprisoned worker activist and member of the Coordinating Committee to Help Form Workers´ Organizations was put on trial due to his message to the workers and people on the occasion of May 1st 2013. The Ministry of Intelligence of city Sanandaj declared Pedram’s May 1st message as an illegal act. Pedram was taken back to prison after the court session. The court set a ten million Toman bail until the court decision is announced.

6 Members of the Coordinating Committee summoned to Court

Six members of the Coordinating Committee to Help Form Workers´ Organizations are summoned to appear in the court in the city of Rasht. 
Faramarz Fetratnejad, Massoud Salimpour, Sirous Fathi, Maziar Mehrpour, Saeed Moghadam and Mrs. Mitra Homayouni were also among the arrested members of the Coordinating Committee at their General Assembly, attacked by the regime in June 2012.

Hamed Mahmoudnejad summoned to court

Hamed Mahmoudnejad, the labour activist and member of the Coordinating Committee to Help Form Workers' Organization is summoned to appear before court. He got two separate summons however with two different dates, one is scheduled for July 13th and the other for July 24th. The labour activist is accused of “Acting against the national security”.
Hamed was arrested in March this year and released on a 50 million Toman bail after 32 days imprisonment in the Ministry of Intelligence of city Sanandaj. He was arrested once more just twenty days after his release. This time he was released after 16 days on a 50 million Toman bail.

Khaled Hosseini sentenced in absentia

The “Revolutionary Court” of the city of Sanandaj sentenced Khaled Hosseini, the labour activist and member of the Coordinating Committee to Help Form Workers' Organization in absentia; to one year in prison on July 6th . He is charged with “Propaganda against the system”. The court session was held without informing him.

Behzad Farajollahi sentenced to imprisonment

The labour activist Behzad Farajollahi was sentenced in absentia to one year imprisonment by the Sanandaj “Revolutionary Court” on charges of “propaganda against the system” on July3th. Behzad is a member of the Coordinating Committee to Help Form Workers' Organization.

Vafa Ghaderi sentenced to imprisonment

The “Revolutionary Court” in the city of Sanandaj, sentenced the labour activist Vafa Ghaderi to one year imprisonment, he is charged with “acting against the national security”on July 2nd. Vafa is a member of the Coordinating Committee to Help Form Workers' Organization.

Ghaleb Hosseini was put on trial by the “Revolutionary Court” in the city of Sanandaj on July 2nd.  The labour activist is accused of membership of the Coordinating Committee to Help Form Workers' Organization and connectivity to the opposition parties abroad.

Jalil Mohammadi and Hamed Mahmoudnejad arrested



Just one day after the May 1st rally in the city of Sanandaj, Jalil Mohammadi and Hamed Mahmoudnejad two members of the Coordinating Committee to Help Form Workers were arrested.  Jalil was arrested by the security forces on May 2nd and since then his whereabouts is unknown.  Hamed left his home on the same day and did not return since then. After many visits to various authorities by his family, now the security officials confirmed that he is also among the arrested.

امروز و در عصر حاضر هر انسانی که بر روی این کره خاکی می زید حق دارد با دنیای پیرامونش ارتباط داشته باشد و بهتر آن را بشناسد.در عصری که آن را عصر ارتباطات نامیده اند، انسان ها را نمی توان بدون برقراری ارتباط با محیط پیرامون خود تصور کرد. اما ما در کشوری زندگی می کنیم که متاسفانه بر این عرصه از زندگی ما می تازند وانسان ها را از بدیهی ترین حق شان منع می کنند، می گیرند، می زنند، دستبند و پابند می کنند تا مبادا دنیای پیرامونش را کنکاش کند، اما غافل از آن اند که نمی توان عقاید و و باورها را غل و زنجیر کرد، باورهایی که والاتر از آن است که بتوان با وسایل و ابزار سرکوب سرمایه داران به زنجیر کشیده شود و نیست و نابودش کنند، این ابزارها شاید مقطعی بر جسم ها اثر بگذارد اما خللی در باورها ایجاد نمی کند.

Recently an intensified new round of summons, detentions and imprisonment of labor activists and workers has begun.
Seven labor activists: Khaled Hosseini, vafa Ghaderi, Ali Azadi, Ghaleb Hosseini, Behzad farajolahi, and Hamed Mahmoud Nejad members of the Coordinating Committee to help Form Workers´ Organizations and Sharif Saad Panah, a member of the free Union of workers in Iran, have been arrested and jailed, a number of other labor activists have been intimidated, threatened or summoned.

Labour activist Seyed Ghaleb Hosseini arrested


Today March 19 Seyed Ghaleb Hosseini, labor activist and member of the Coordinating Committee to help Form Workers´ organizations was arrested by the intelligence and security forces in the city of Sanandaj, at his workplace.  
Days before March 8 and also after the arrest of six other labour actives he has been threatened several times by the security forces on the phone and was urged to contact the intelligent service.

Five labour activists arrested


Today, at 6 a.m. Ali Azadi was arrested in the city of Sanandaj at his work place. 
Vafa Ghaderi, Khaled Hosseini, Behzad Farajolahi and Hamed Mahmoudnejad were arrested half an hour earlier  by the agents of the Ministry of Intelligence and Security "MOIS" at their homes.

All these Labor activists are members of the Coordinating Committee to Help Form Workers' Organizations.  

It should be noted that yesterday, Aafa Qaderi was threatened by the agents in a phone call that in case of holding the women's day celebration on March 8, he will be arrested.

Labour activists released on bail

Yusof Ab Kharabat , Mohammad Molanai and Vahed Sayedeh, three members of the Coordinating Committee to Help Form Workers' Organizations were released on February 26th  from Mahabad prison on bail of 25 million toman for Yusof and Mohammad and 40 million Toman bail for Vahed.

Five labour activists on trial


The five arrested members of the Coordinating Committee to Help Form Workers' Organization were put on trial on February 11th. They are charged with “acting against the national security” as well as “membership of the Coordinating Committee”.

Jamal Minashiri, Ebrahim Mostafa Pour, Qassem Mostafa Pour and Hadi Tanomand were arrested and transferred to the intelligence detention of city Bokan on December 19th,  2012.

Mohammad Karimi was not brought to court, because he is non-resident of Bokan city. He is one other member of the Coordinating Committee, who was arrested also in the city of Bokan and on the same day.

Three labour activists transferred to the Central Prison of Mahabad


Vahed Sayedeh and Mohammad Molanai, detained labour activists and members of the Coordinating Committee to Help Form Workers´ Organizations were transferred to the Central Prison of Mahabad City on 20th January.
Yusof Ab Kharabat the other member of this committee was transferred to the same prison on January 17th.
These labour activists were arrested about 20 days ago and their cases have not been brought to court yet.

Family members of arrested Labour activist gathered in front of the intelligent service office


The Family members of the arrested Labour activist and members of the Coordinating Committee to help Workers´ Organizations, Yusof Ab Kharabat, Vahed sayedeh and Mohammad Molanai gathered on January 10th in front of the intelligent service office of city Mahabad. They demanded the release of arrested workers, but were insulted and threatened by the agents.
Since the arrests only Vahed sayedeh had a short phone call with his family and asked for clothes.
It is not clear whether the arrested labour activists have been informed of the accusations.

Yusof Ab Kharabat arrested



Yusof Ab Kharabat, Labour activist and member of the Coordinating Committee to help Workers´ Organizations was summoned to the intelligent service office of city Mahabad. He has not returned home, since his appearance on January 8th at 10: 30 AM in the intelligent service office.   

He is the third member of the Coordinating Committee, who is arrested by the intelligent service of city Mahabad during this week.
