Protest von Staudammarbeitern


Die Arbeiter des Banir Staudamm-Projektes  versammelten sich vor dem Firmengebäude ihres Arbeitgebers aus Protest gegen ihre unbezahlten Löhne der letzten vier Monate einschließlich aller ihnen zustehenden Bonuszahlungen des vergangenen Jahres.
Der Staudamm befindet sich ca. 20 km entfernt von der Stadt  Sanandaj-Marivan in der Provinz Kurdestan. Dort sind mehr als 200 Arbeiter beschäftigt.

Arbeiterprotest in der Fliesenfabrik Gilana


Die Arbeiter der Fliesenfabrik Gilana versammelten sich vor dem Hauptgebäude der Fabrik in der Stadt  Manjil, um sich für die Auszahlung ihrer seit 9 Monaten nicht ausgezahlten Löhne zu einzusetzen. Sie setzten Reifen in Brand und sperrten die Straße zwischen Razwin und Rasht.
Die Speere wurde aufgehoben, nachdem der Chef der Sicherheitskräfte dort erschien, und ein Offizieller der Bezirksregierung die Arbeiter aufforderte, sich zu beruhigen, und  die Protestaktion beendete. 

Verspätete Lohnauszahlungen für Arbeiter in Yazd

Die städtischen Arbeiter der Stadt Yazd versammelten sich im Büro des Gouverneurs, um ihren Protest gegen die Nichtauszahlung ihrer Löhne Ausdruck zu verleihen. Diese Arbeiter bekommen den Mindestlohn (420,000 Toman pro Monat), der ihnen seit drei Monaten nicht ausgezahlt wurde.

Protest of dam workers


The workers of Banir dam building project gathered in protest against their unpaid wages of last four months and also the bonus and reward of last year in front of the contracting company. The dam is located 20 km from Sanandaj-Marivan road in province kurdestan and more than 200 workers are occupied in this project.

Protest at tile factory Gilana


Workers of tile factory Gilana gathered in front of the factory in the city of Manjil to protest against their unpaid wages of last 9 months. They put tires on fire and blocked the Rasht- Qazvin road. The road was reopened after presence of chief of security forces and the county official, asked the workers to calm down and ended the protest action.

Municipal workers of city Yazd gathered in governor's office to address their unpaid wages. These workers receive the minimum wage (420 thousand Toman per month), which is in default since three months.

Strike of Haft-Tapeh Sugar Cane workers

The workers of Haft-Tapeh Sugar Cane workers went on strike on May 15th, in protest against their unpaid wages since last month. In addition based on the statutory minimum wage for the current year, the wages had to be increased by 25%, which has not been applied yet. The workers demand the payment of unpaid wages, wage increase based on the statutory minimum and also the implementation of job classification.
Following the strike, the factory management showed up among the striking workers and talked to them, without any results.
The workers announced to continue the strike until their demands are fulfilled.

Über 1000 Sadra Arbeiter im Streik

Mehr als 1000 Arbeiter der Sadra Leiharbeitsfirma aus der Stadt Bushehr sind am 30.04 in den Streik getreten, um gegen die Nichtauszahlung ihrer Löhne während der letzten drei Monate zu protestieren.
In Folge des Streiks erschienen Berichten zu folge einige Vertreter der Leiharbeitsfirma und drängten die Arbeiter, den Streik zu beenden, aber diese bestanden auf ihren Forderungen. Als Reaktion darauf veranlasste das Management die Schließung der Fabrik, es bestellte Firmenbusse und zwang die Arbeiter, das Gelände zu verlassen. Nach letzten Meldungen befinden sich die Arbeiter trotz aller Bemühungen der Unternehmer, den Streik zu beenden, immer noch im Streik.

Streik in der Kupferschmelze in Khatoun Abad mit Eingreifen von Spezialkräften

Über 300 Arbeiter der Kupferschmelze in Khatoun Abad in der Provinz Kerman haben seit Mittwoch das Eingangstor des Komplexes geschlossen, um gegen die leeren Versprechungen des Managements zu protestieren.Zwei Jahre zuvor sollten, einer Order der Regierung folgend,die Zeitarbeitsfirmen abgeschafft werden und die Arbeiter mit festen Verträgen eingestellt werden.Deshalb wurden die 2400 Arbeiter des Meiduk Kupfer Komplexes und die Arbeiter der  Khatoun Abad  Kupferschmelze in die Investment Kupfer Fabrik überführt. Diese Investment Firma versprach den Arbeitern, Ihnen ein Jahr nach Ablauf Ihrer Verträge direkte Verträge anzubieten. Nun, nach bereits 18 Monaten, ist immer noch nichts geschehen.Da die Arbeiter das Eingangstor geschlossen halten, ist der Nachschub von Rohmaterial und anderen notwendigen Produktionsmitteln zum Erliegen gekommen und die Fabrik steht de facto still. Durch den Einsatz von Spezialkräften wurden die Streikenden letzte Nacht auseinander getrieben. Dennoch befinden sie sich in einem Sitzstreik innerhalb des Firmenkomplexes und fordern die Umsetzung ihrer Forderungen, sie über Direktverträge einzustellen. Ein Offizieller der Firmenleitung äußerte sich  mit den Worten, dass es keine Einstellungen bei der privaten Kupfer Firma geben wird und dass es das Beste sein, bei der Investment Kupfer Fabrik beschäftigt zu sein, was der aktuellen Situation der Arbeiter gleichkommt.Besonders zu erwähnen ist, dass es am 24.01.2004 bei einem Protest der Minenarbeiter in Khatoun Abad zu einem Blutbad kam, bei dem die Arbeiter sowohl aus der Luft als auch vom Boden beschossen wurden. More than 1000 Sadra workers on strike

More than 1000 workers of Sadra sub-contracting company in the city of Bushehr went on April 30th on strike to protest the non-payment of their last three months wages.
According to the reports in the wake of the strike the representatives of the contracting company appeared among the striking workers and urged the workers to end up the strike, but the workers insisted on their demand. In reply to this situation the authorities of the contracting companies decided to close the factory and ordered shuttle buses and forced the workers to leave the factory. According to the latest reports, despite all attempts to break the strike, the workers are still on strike.

Unpaid wages of 600 Lifeguard

600 Lifeguard in province Mazandaran have not received their wages and the 450 thousand Toman hazardous work allowance since last year.
This issue has been addressed many times by the lifeguards, but so far no administrative authority has reacted.

Shushtar municipality workers on strike


Workers of Shushtar municipality in carrier service are since four consecutive days on strike to protest the unpaid wages for several months.  They have not received the wages for  9  and respectively 11 months.

Protest der Zuckerraffineriearbeiter

Ein Vertreter der Arbeiter einer Zuckerraffinerie in der Stadt Ahwaz sagte:" Eine Gruppe von Arbeitern, die ihren Lohn in den vergangenen 27 Monaten wegen der Schließung einer Produktionslinie nicht erhalten haben, leben in Ungewissheit. Zur  Zeit des Besuches des Regierungschefs in Ahwaz versammelten sich die Arbeiter vor dem Büro des Provinzgouverneurs schon den zweiten aufeinanderfolgenden Tag des neuen Jahres.

Second consecutive day of protest

Refined sugar and sugar factory workers representative in the city of Ahvaz said: a group of workers of this factory, who did not have receive their wages for the last 27 months, due to the closure of the factory production line, are living in uncertainty. Simultaneously with the visit of head of government to the city of Ahvaz, the workers gathered in front of the provincial Governor office for the second consecutive day in the new year.

The first major labor strike in the new Iranian year


Hundred dismissed workers of Safa Pipe Rolling factory entered the factory to protest their unfair dismissal and the non-payment of their wages in the first morning hours of April 21. As they entered the factory, other workers joined them and stopped the production.
According to the reports, a day earlier, the employer did not extend the contract with one hundred of workers and dismissed them.  He also extended the contracts of further 1100 workers (with six-month or 12-months contract) only for month to facilitate the future dismissals.
On April 9th, the employer was supposed to pay a part of the delayed wages. At this day, not only the delayed wages were not paid, but also one hundred workers were dismissed and the contract of the rest of workers was extended only for one month.
According to the latest reports as other workers join the strike, the factory managers tried to threaten them, but faced a backlash by workers, which in some cases ended to severe verbal clashes between factory workers and managers.
The strike at Safa Pipe rolling plant is continuing with the joining of night shift workers to the strike.

Petrochemical workers fired after strike


Kabele Surrey, the new shareholder of the petrochemical Company in Kurdistan province fired 10 workers with long period of employment at this company.  According to the report the workers went a month ago on strike for 12 days, demanding their delayed wages.

It should be noted that Surrey is also one of the shareholders of the Ehyasanat factory, which a few months ago, had fired most of its workers due to slump in sales.

Unpaid wages of cemetery workers


250 workers of the central cemetery of metropolitan Tehran “Behesht-e Zahra”gathered in front of the office building of the cemetery in protest against unpaid wages of last three months. These workers work 10 hours per day and so far there has been no response to their demands.

These workers covered the distance 6 kilometers between the factory, located in the city of Manjil, and the city of Rudbar on foot.

A report of the ceramic and tile factory Kajeh


Kajeh is a manufacturer of ceramic and tile, which is located at the industrial city of Islamabad in province Kermanshah.  Due to the embargo and lack of raw materials the factory operates just few days a month. Based on this report the days when the factory is closed the workers do not receive neither wages nor unemployment insurance. The factory has 500 employees.

10th continues day of strike of 1200 workers of Safa Pipe Rolling factory


The workers of Safa Pipe Rolling factory in the city of Saveh resumed their strike on March 5th.
On January 5th the employer presented the workers a payment schedule for the six months delayed wages, but the employer failed again and again to meet the promised deadlines. Since then the workers could force the employer to pay 2 of 6 months delayed wages.

Based on the schedule one month wages were due on March 5th.
On March 10th, the sixth day of their strike, the workers announced that the employer should also pay the wages that were supposed to be paid at this day.

In the wake of strike of 1200 workers, the employer deposited one of 4 months pack wages into their accounts on March 10th, but the workers refused to return to work and are still on strike.
