Reza Shahabi on Medical Treatment strike

Reza Shahabi was also attacked as recently the security forces raided the section 350 of Evin-prison and physical abused and assaulted the prisoners.
They tugged Reza Shahabi and threw him violently out of bed by holding his feet. This brutal act intensified the back and leg pain of Reza.
Despite this situation the chief of sick ward of prison refuse to send him and other political prisoners to a hospital out of the prison with the feeble excuses such as: the minimum number of requests is not reached or you simulate. Even accessing the sick ward in prison means many body searches, insult and offense.

What was the cause of Afshin Osanloo’s death?

The director of Tehran prisons confirmed the Afshin´s death in a hospital. But as Afshin’s sister asked the nurses about the cause of death, they said that he was already dead before he arrived here.  She added: my mother visited him last week, he was fine. He had no heart complaint, we can´t believe this.

Afshin is not the first political prisoner, who died in prison, Satar Beheshti (blogger), Akbar Mohammadi (student activist) and others died under suspicious circumstances in prisons of Islamic Regime in Iran.
Afshin Osanloo was arrested in 2010 and spent four months in Ward 209 of Evin Prison, where he was severely tortured. The injuries caused by torture were still visible up to his death. Repeated beating with cables left a deep wound in his foot and a tumor in the scapula.

The intelligent Ministry of Regime did not permit holding a memorial ceremony for him in a mosque.
