The Automobile manufacturer “Zagroskhodro” in the city of
Boroujerd has been closed due to the increasing financial problems and 400
workers were laid off with three months of unpaid wages.
Job cuts at Zagroskhodro began early this year.
The Job in this factory during the last 14 years consisted
of assembling of cars without any particular technology and adding any
technological value to the industry of the country. The experts evaluate the machinery
in this factory as outdated and non-economical.
Zagrosskhoro Company located in the city of Borujerd of
Lorestan province was established 1996 by private sector and is cooperation with
Proton of Malaysia.
