Khalil Karimi is summoned to court
Khalil Karimi, one of the
board members of the Free Union of Iranian Workers was interrogated by the
security agents on April 28. They accused him of coordinating activities to
hold may day celebration in the city of Sanandaj. They declared the union as
illegal and forced him to resign. But Khalili emphasized on the right of
workers to hold may day celebration, legality of this Union and his membership.
Few hours later he was transferred to the branch four of the Revolutionary Court
in the city of Sanandaj and his file was opened. Today, he has to appear for
the trial before the court.
