More than 1000 workers of
Sadra sub-contracting company in the city of Bushehr went on April 30th on strike to protest
the non-payment of their last three months wages.
According to the reports in
the wake of the strike the representatives of the contracting company appeared
among the striking workers and urged the workers to end up the strike, but the
workers insisted on their demand. In reply to this situation the authorities of
the contracting companies decided to close the factory and ordered shuttle buses
and forced the workers to leave the factory. According to the latest reports, despite all attempts to break the strike, the
workers are still on strike.
