Amjadi one of the arrested activists on May 1st in the city of
Sanandaj was summoned to the court to provide his final arguments.
“Acting
against national security in favor of counter-revolution groups and membership
in those groups, carrying placards and chanting slogans against the system on
international labour day rally” are the charges against him. He called the charges
unfounded and defended the holding of May 1st rallies as a right of
all workers worldwide. He also stated that this day belongs to all workers of
the world and is not dedicated to a specific party or group.
