According to reports, Ali Nejati board member of
Haft-Tapeh Sugar Cane workers union was admitted to the hospital in Tehran and underwent a coronary
angioplasty surgery.
The physicians emphasized that to avoid the recurrence of his heart disease
he should stay at home and away from the stress of prison.
Ali Nejati doctors have warned repeatedly that the prison will increase the
chance of heart attack and severe consequences for him.
Vascular congestion, inflammation of the mitral valve, and having to use a
variety of medication, are the reasons why physicians deemed him unfit for prison.
