According to the Communiqué number 35 from the
“Reza Shahabi Defence Committee“, Reza Shahabi is being returned to
prison today, just 20 days after a surgery on his cervical spine. In
near future he has
to undergo the next surgery on the lumbar spine, therefore he needs special
care outside the prison. The physicians deemed him unfit for prison, citing her poor health.
Shahabi thanked in a message all doctors, medical
staff for their efforts during his stay in hospital and all the
national and
international labour organizations and labour activists, who supported him and
his family.
