Reza Shahabi was
transferred to hospital for few hours of medical exam. He is suffering intense headaches
and numbness in the fingers of his left hand.
After his surgery
in July 2012 and in spite of the fact that physicians recommended him intensive
care at home, he was put back in Evin Prison. As a result he suffered serious
infection on the surgery area leading to heavy pain and numbness in the fingers
and foot.
Shahabi, board
member and treasurer of the Tehran and Suburbs Bus Drivers Vahed is currently serving
his sentence of six years imprisonment in Evin prison ward 350.
